Veterinary Teaching Hospital Library Collection

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) Library, a branch of the Colorado State University Libraries, was established in 1979. Designed to serve the faculty, staff, and students at the VTH, the library emphasizes clinical, medical, and veterinary literature to support the hospital’s teaching and research missions. This digital collection contains five instructional videos, 1990-2011, demonstrating surgical methods for cats, dogs, and horses. Also included is The Fundus Oculi of Birds, Especially as Viewed by the Ophthalmoscope: A Study in Comparative Anatomy and Physiology (1917) by noted Canadian ophthalmologist Casey A. Wood. A promotional video titled Veterinary Medicine: The Challenge that Lasts a Lifetime may be found in the University Archive.
