Abstract

If what we know and what we ought to do can both be given an evolutionary explanation, then human life will have been thoroughly naturalized. Wuketits advocates an evolutionary epistemology, but also finds that human knowledge vastly transcends any found in biology. In the Niteckis' collection, evolutionary ethics, advocated by some, is met mostly with philosophical skepticism. Is it pointless to consider arguments deceptively disguised as self-interest in defending authentic morality?
