Woodland Park Healthy Forest Initiative: collaboration case study

Abstract

Description

Prepared for the Colorado Forest Restoration Institute. The Colorado Forest Restoration Institute commissioned Corrie Knapp, a recent M.S. graduate from the Department of Forest, Rangeland and Watershed Stewardship at Colorado State University, to conduct case studies of two collaborative forest health efforts, the Uncompahgre Mesas Forest Restoration Project and the Woodland Park Initiative. The intent is to highlight each effort's accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned so that others working in similar collaboratives might glean ideas, insights and innovations to apply to their situations.
